Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have more in common than being great singers, both girls have a love for tattoos! Miley now has three tattoos (a heart on her finger, “LOVE” on her ear, and “Just Breathe” on her rib cage) and Demi has two (“You Make Me Beautiful” on her rib cage and a feather behind her ear).

Demi recently spoke about her “You Make Me Beautiful” tat, which is a song lyric from Bethany Dillon. She said, “The words were so encouraging and lifted me through a really dark time in my life. It’s kind of a Christian tattoo, so for me it’s religious, but it could be for anybody.”

And Chris Garcia, Miley’s tattoo artist for her “Just Breathe” and “LOVE” tattoo spoke about tattooing Miley. He said, “Miley is a typical teenager. Okay siya, kalog siya (She’s wacky). For somebody who grew up well off, she’s very courteous.” Chris added that Miley got her “Just Breathe” as a “tribute” to her friend (Vanessa).

Demi also shared that the feather behind her ear, “honestly doesn’t mean anything. I just think it’s cute. It’s a light blue feather, but it looks more like a leaf, so I gotta fix it.”

And even though Chris Garcia thinks Miley has hit her tattoo limit until she turns 18, Demi is ready for more! Demi said, “I want more [tattoos] and I’m excited to be able to just like call a friend and be like, ‘I want a tattoo, let’s go.’”

I would not be surprised if we saw Miley and Demi getting tattoos together in the future!
