Miley Cyrus has plenty of critics, from rank-and-file music fans to finger-wagging parents’ groups. But Demi Lovato is not among them.
The Camp Rock star defended her Disney compatriot big time earlier this week, after announcing this year’s American Music Awards nominees. Offered an opportunity to dish about the controversy surrounding Cyrus’ sexy new “Who Owns My Heart” video, Lovato immediately shut down any possibility of negativity, snapping,
“She’s my best friend, so you better watch out…I think that she looks stunning, and I will defend her 100 percent for the rest of my life.”
Further pressed to comment on Cyrus’ video, Lovato reaffirmed in no uncertain terms,
“Like I said, she’s my best friend and I will defend her for the rest of my life.”

Demi Lovato bottled up her feelings while being bullied until she begged her mum to take her out of school, she has revealed.
The Camp Rock actress talked about her experiences in the hope of helping younger Disney fans who might be going through similar problems.
“Bullying is something I went through when I was 12 years old, I actually ended up leaving school because of it,” she explained in Los Angeles.
“I just remember the hard times that I went through that caused problems that I struggle with every day to this day,” the 18-year-old confessed. “I was bottling it up 100% and one day I was in a bathroom and the lights were out, I couldn’t turn them on because you had to have a key in a separate part of the school, and I just called my mum and I was crying and I said ‘I don’t want to go to school any more’ and instead of pulling me out 100% she started home schooling me.”
She added: “It was a rough time, I was by myself.”
After working with her mum to find a solution, the Sonny With A Chance actress then ended up making friends with a young actress who went on to become the star of Wizards Of Waverly Place
“I actually home schooled with Selena Gomez so she was a good friend to me then and she still is,” she explained.
“If I can be an inspiration to say ‘hey you can get through it’, that’s all I want to be.”
Actress and Singer Demi Lovato’s Toluca Lake home is up for sale. Lovato’s three-story, Spanish style home is on the market with an asking price of a mere $1,899,000, according to PacificCoastNews.com.
The 18-year-old’s home in Toluca Lake is quite the piece of real estate, with 6 bedrooms, and 7 bathrooms, and a roomy 5,086 square feet of living space. Not a bad size for a teenager’s starter home, right? Demi Lovato purchased the LA-area home when she was just 16 years old.
Lovato bought her family a new home in Los Angeles back in August when she turned 18, which may be why she is willing to part with the Toluca Lake home. After all, how many homes does an 18-year-old need to own, right?
