Mileywill be heading to Vegas tomorrow for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. There, she’ll be hitting the stage to present an award and making an announcement — can’t wait to hear what it is!
“Can’t stop thinking about @MileyCyrus’ big announcement this Sunday on the #BBMA! Show starts @ 8PM ET. Are you ready?!?” RCA Records tweeted.
Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus were hard at work at the same recording studio in Hollywood last night, and their timing was way too coincidental to not jump to the conclusion that the two pop stars must be recording a duet together!
The Biebs mugged for the camera at a photo shoot at Milk Studios earlier in the night, then headed over to the studio around 8p.m., with Miss Miley arriving a short time later around 9p.m. They left within minutes of each other around midnight and tried to avoid being photographed. Hmm….

“There aren’t that many recording booths at this studio; they MUST be doing something together. Justin and Miley left within minutes of each other – it’s too coincidental. There’s gotta be a collaboration in the works.”

After releasing her track “Ashtrays and Heartbreak” with Snoop Lion, the singer teased that she just might have a new single to share with the world during Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards—and that’s exactly what’s happening.
Cyrus took to Twitter tonight and revealed that the title of her new song is “We Can’t Stop.”"Cats outta the bag! LETS TREND MY 1st SINGLE #wecantstop,” she wrote. And Miley got just that.
“#WeCantStop is the NUMBER ONE trending topic worldwide!,” Cyrus tweeted less than 10 minutes later. “Retweet if you can’t wait till I release #wecantstop @MikeWiLLMadeIt…We can’t stop TRENDING #wecantstop.”
Although the title is now out in the open, it looks like Miley still has plans to surprise fans on Sunday: “Big announcement about #wecantstop coming @billboard.”
After taking the top spot on the Maxim 2013 Hot 100 List, it was no surprise that Miley Cyrus would stun at the party to celebrate the list. Showing off a cute bow on the back of a Valentino jumpsuit, paired with Saint Laurent heels, Miley attended the Maxim Hot 100 Party at Vanguard in Hollywood (May 15). More pics HERE & HERE.

This year’s Billboard Music Awards has some top performers and the list of presenters, which is just as star-studded, has now been confirmed.
The event, which is due to take place on May 19 in Las Vegas, will be hosted by actor and comedian Tracy Morgan, but he will be joined by a string of well-loved musicians who will act as presenters for the night.
Singer Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha and Carly Rae Jepsen have all been announced for the exciting role, but a further 11 music stars will also present awards and segments at the extravaganza. Several Hollywood personalities will step in as presenters, including ‘Nashville’ beauty Hayden Panettiere, ‘Dark Shadows’ actress Chloe Moretz, and Alyssa Milano.
Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars are all set to perform live at the Billboard Music Awards, which will also see Madonna honoured with a special award for her touring achievements.
The Source Magazine spoke with one of our favorite songwriters, Angela Hunte, on the red carpet for the 2013 SESAC Pop Music Awards at the New York Public Library. Hunte who recently co-wrote Snoop Lion’s “Reincarnated,” and is probably best known for penning Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind,” is always in the studio with the biggest names in music. She told The Source that she recently worked with Jennifer Hudson and Ledisi on their upcoming projects, but the session that most peaked our interest was Miley Cyrus!
“Miley is amazing, she is amazing, she was a sweetheart and super professional. She was a pleasure to work with, I had a ball. We had fun. It wasn’t even like we were working, we were just laughing and having a good time with Diplo and its been fun. I’ve been working a lot with Diplo, that’s my boy,” Hunte told The Source exclusively.
So did Diplo just call you up to jam with Miley?
Angela Hunte: Absolutely, that’s what it is. If he’s doing something or he’s working on something he’s like, “Hey Angela come through I’m working on it” and he was like “I’m getting ready to do a record with Miley, why don’t you come to the studio?”
This new Miley Cyrus album is probably the most anticipated project of the year!
Angela Hunte: Let me tell you something, I heard some of her records and it’s f*cking incredible! I was completely shocked. I can’t believe it and it’s not forced it doesn’t sound like they forced Miley to be this person she’s not, it’s her just with a brand new sound!
The Mike Will Made It produced Miley Cyrus album still does not have a release date, but Hunte is positive the project will blow your mind.
ALSO, at a recent Wango Tango concert, will.i.am played the track that he did with Miley Cyrus, Fall Down. He said, “I’ve got a new album out right now called #willpower and I did a song with someone who’s very talented and an amazing artist by the name of Miley Cyrus. This song is my favourite song off of #willpower”. The crowd seemed to love it.
Miley Cyrus may be making a huge departure from her past in terms of her style and sound, but one thing remains: Her BFFship with fellow musician spawn-cum-celeb Kelly Osbourne. Ozzy‘s little girl revealed some details about Cyrus’ mysterious yet highly hyped upcoming album that only a bestie would know.
“You’ll love it,” Osbourne gushed to Hollywood Life. “It’s such a departure from everything you’ve ever seen from Miley before.” Osbourne also noted that Cyrus’ tumultuous relationship with Liam Hemsworth (which may very well be over, depending on whoyouask) played a role in the transition to from child to mature star.
“It is the grown up Miley Cyrus,” Osbourne affirmed. “It takes a strong woman to step outside the boundaries and she has done it. I think you’ll like it.”
As for when we’ll get to hear any of it? Cyrus hinted at a new single — or at least an announcement of one — at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards next weekend, so sit tight!
