Demi Lovato: I’d Love to Duet w/ Miley Cyrus

3 04 2012

It might just be the biggest pop duet in music history!

In an exclusive webchat with US pop superstar and actress Demi Lovato, the 19-year-old beauty revealed something that made her fans get super-excited on Twitter.

When asked who she’d most like to duet with, the Camp Rock star revealed she has a desire to work with her musical contemporary and friend, Miley Cyrus.

“I would love to do a song with Miley Cyrus I think she’s really talented,” she admitted.

Coming from similar backgrounds in the entertainment industry – both were Disney stars (Demi in Camp Rock and Miley in Hannah Montana) and both have worked as actresses and singers – they have been best friends for years, despite having the odd fall out.

In 2009 the pair had a fiery spat on Twitter but quickly made up.

In a recent interview with Seventeen magazine Demi explained all about the pair’s often tempestuous relationship.

“Miley Cyrus and I are strong headed,” she explained. “When we fight it’s brutal and we’re like, ‘We’re never going to be friends again!’ Then two days later, were like, ‘I love you and I miss you!'”

However, with Demi’s latest admission – a desire to work musically with her pal – are we going to see the greatest pop starlet duet in history?

Her fans are sure hoping so! Shortly after Demi confessed this in the MSN webchat, #MileyAndDemiDuet started trending worldwide on Twitter with fans of both singers keen for them to get together in the studio.

Also trending on Twitter today: ‘Demi and Niall’ and ‘Nemi’. Find out why HERE!
