Miley Cyrus Set to Appear on Jay Leno – October 12th

11 10 2012

Miley will be appearing on Jay Leno this Friday! Tune into Jay Leno on Friday, October 12th at 11:35/10:35c. Also appearing will be Rove McManus, and musical act The Script!

ALSO, Miley Cyrus Flees Lifetime/History Bonnie & Clyde Miniseries:

This is pretty uncool: Miley Cyrus is no longer in the running to play the female lead in Bonnie & Clyde, a four-hour miniseries in development for cable siblings History and Lifetime, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Cyrus had been in negotiations to play Bonnie in the project, which is being shepherded by Smash exec producers, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

It’s not clear what led to the breakdown in talks.

Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, recently started up a blog where she can talk about what’s been going on and also clear up some rumors. Yesterday, she posted a blog about Bonnie & Clyde, which Miley was in talks for, but is no longer part of the project. Tish filled us in with the reasons why!

Hey guys, just wanted to give you the scoop on the Bonnie and Clyde project.

Miley and I received the script for that project some time ago.  We both love the history of Bonnie and Clyde and also loved the script for the project.  I think for Miley, the idea of playing Bonnie would have been fun and challenging which is what you always look for in a character.

All that to say, she was never confirmed to play the part of Bonnie, just in talks to do so if the timing was right and it could work around her music schedule. Unfortunately, the project was delayed for some time and now she is in the middle of making music which has always been her first  priority.

Like they say…….timing is everything!!

The good new is, if you want to see Miley on TV in the near future, just tune in to Two and a Half Men on October 18th!

Blessings, Tish
