Demi Lovato ‘Would Love Britney Collaboration’

18 10 2012

Demi Lovato has revealed that she would love to collaborate with Britney Spears. The singer admitted that while no talks regarding a collaboration are currently taking place, she remains hopeful that one day the two X Factor USA judges will record a song together.

“I would love to,” Demi Lovato told Pop Sugar after being asked about the possibility of a collaboration. “I would be so excited to. There hasn’t been any talks now but I keep putting out there in the universe so that hopefully one day it’ll happen.”

Demi also opened up about what it was like when she first met Britney:

“When I first came into it I was so nervous and then I looked over and she was too. So we kind of just had a moment where we were like, ‘I’ve got your back’. We’ve got each other.” How sweet! Too bad these two will be noncompeting against each other from here on out, since Demi is mentoring the 17-24 group, and Britney is in charge of the young teens.”

Speaking on her upcoming fourth studio album, she added:

“Fans can expect a less dancy-pop album. I’m trying to stay away from EDM on this album and no dubstep for me. “I miss hearing real instruments on the radio and I wanna be able to bring that back. That’s important me. I want my sound and lyrics to mature as well as I have the past year.”

The singer revealed that she has quite a few songs prepared for the next album, however it still has a way to go before being fully completed.

ALSO, Demi uploaded a cute video of her dancing to “Give Your Heart A Break” on the radio:
