On April 29, 2013, Fox Broadcasting Company announced that it is having its first-ever Fanfront event, which will be held in New York City on May 13, 2013. The event will allow fans to meet and mingle with several stars from Fox shows, including “ ,” “American Idol,” “Glee,” “The Following,” “Bones,” “New Girl,” “Raising Hope” and “The Mindy Project.
May 13, 2013, is also the date that Fox is having its annual New York City upfront event for advertisers. The four celebrities who will be the judges on “The X Factor” U.S. in 2013 are expected to be officially introduced on stage at this event, which will be held at the Beacon Theatre.
After the event, there is a Fox party (held at another location, not the Beacon Theatre) that will be attended by Fox stars, executives, advertisers and other invited guests.
As of now, “The X Factor” executive producerand award-winning singer are the only confirmed judges for “The X Factor” U.S., but the replacements for Britney Spears and L.A. Reid should be announced by May 2013. “The X Factor” representatives are not commenting on rumors that former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland is replacing Spears, and singer/songwriter/producer Ne-Yo is replacing Reid.

As Fox unveils its new shows, the Fox Fanfront will give fans a front-of-the-line pass to see Fox stars, get an exclusive sneak peek at the new shows, learn more about their favorite returning shows and take home some one-of-a-kind FOX swag.
To attend, fans must RSVP via email at FOXRSVP@cegny.com or via phone at 646-745-1570 by Friday, May 10.
Fox fans will have a front row seat – and all of the inside scoop – as their favorite Fox stars also stop to talk to the fans and answer their questions. Plus, fans will be treated to a surprise musical performance, lots of cool swag – including their very own customized Fox T-shirts – as well as a sneak peek at the new shows coming to Fox this fall. Fans can submit questions for their favorite Fox stars at facebook.com/foxtv or via Twitter (@FOXTV), using #FOXFANfront.
Fans must RSVP to attend. Event opens at 2:00 PM. Check-in location and further details provided upon confirmation. Space is limited and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP is required, but does not guarantee admission – so please plan accordingly.
