  • ‘I Know What Colour My Skin Is’: Miley Cyrus Hits Back At Racial Jabs In Twitter Rant

The singer’s transformation has caused quite the stir

Miley Cyrus isn’t usually one to keep quiet so it comes as no surprise that the songstress has hit back at her critics, slamming those who have apparently been making racial comments possibly related to her new urban look.

The ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer has caused quite the stir with her drastic transformation from cute Disney actress into a rebellious pop star over the last few months with many poking fun at her twerking, edgier image and friendships with celebrity pals such as Pharrell Williams and Mike Will Made It, but it appears the singer has been receiving nasty comments in regards to her race, prompting Miley to address the taunts on Twitter.

Without directly revealing the origin of the criticism, Miley retaliated tweeting: “I know what color my skin is. you can stop with the friendly reminders b***h.”

Miley later posted a photo with lyrics taken from her latest smash hit song, which read: “#itsmymouthicansaywhatiwantto.”

Prior to the rant, Miley shared photos and tweets from the recording studio alongside the likes of French Montana and Mike Will Made It, both of whom are working on her upcoming album ‘Bangerz.’

‘Bangerz,’ which will be her fourth studio album, is already shaping up to be a hit with the former Hannah Montana star revealing the record will feature a fleet of big name stars including Big Sean, Ludacris and her close pal, ‘Get Lucky’ singer Pharrell will appear on the ‘Bangerz’ album.

‘We Can’t Stop’ is currently at number one in the UK scoring Miley her first chart-topper in the country while it has jumped back up to number two on the Billboard charts.
