Miley Cyrus Declares Herself ‘Naughty By Nature’ In Mike Will’s ‘23’ Teaser

8 08 2013

Mike WiLL Made It – 23(Snippet) – feat. Wiz Khalifa, Miley Cyrus & Juicy J. from Mike WiLL Made It on Vimeo.

What happens when Miley Cyrus gets recruited to sing the hook on Mike Will Made It’s new single “23”? Well, fans will have to wait a few more weeks to hear the whole song, but the producer did drop a short, but sweet teaser for the track, which also features Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa, late Tuesday night.

The 27-second clip proves that this team is out to party. With its club-ready beat Wiz spits “I’m not no wannabe/ Waitress asks how many bottles/ I say 23.” Then Miley comes in with her verse.

In her signature raspy tone, she sings, “I’m naughty by nature.” (Oh, we see what you did there.) Then she adds, “My hands in the sky/ I wave ‘em from side to side/ my feet on the floor/ I’m about to turn up now.”

The full version of “23” will make its debut on August 26; one day after the VMA-nominatedMiley is set to appear at the VMAs on August 25, live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.  The track doesn’t mark the first collaboration for Miley and Mike Will. He also produced the singer’s lead Bangerz track, “We Can’t Stop.”

At the VMAs she’s up for three Moonmen for “We Can’t Stop.” Mike Will makes a cameo in the Diane Martel-directed clip.

Britney Spears To Feature On Miley Cyrus’ New Album ‘Bangerz?’

7 08 2013

A track of the same name has been leaked

Miley Cyrus certainly picked an appropriate name for her new album ‘Bangerz’ with reports that Britney Spears will feature on the record after a track of the same name leaked online yesterday.

Fans were finally given the news they had been waiting for yesterday when Miley announced the name of her brand new album, titled ‘Bangerz,’ her first release under new record label Sony RCA, and will follow hot on the heels of the global success of the lead single ‘We Can’t Stop,’ which is currently dominating the iTunes chart in the UK.

While little is known about the other tracks on the album, it looks as though Miley may have bagged a pretty huge collaboration with none other than Britney Spears. Fans were sent into a frenzy when a 10-second snippet of a track, also titled ‘Bangerz,’ leaked online shortly after Miley’s album announcement, with claims that the song features Britney’s vocals.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Miley, 20, has secured the former X Factor USA judge for a guest appearance on the forthcoming LP as she recently described Britney as her kindred spirit.

“Everyone goes through a time in their life where they don’t want their picture taken everyday,” Miley told the Huffington Post.

“She just never had that time where she could say, ‘I’m going through something right now and need to shut down.’ I also don’t have that, so it’s good to have that one person in my life who gets it.”

Listen to the alleged Britney collaboration below…

Miley Cyrus’ ‘BANGERZ’ Album Announced As Singer’s Next Project

7 08 2013

Miley Cyrus has finally announced the name of her upcoming album. The 20-year-old singer has been hyping the forthcoming release of her latest studio album for months, ultimately publicizing on Tuesday afternoon that the project will be called “BANGERZ”

Cyrus was waiting until she hit 13,000,000 Twitter followers to release the name of the album, counting down to the total in recent days. Born Destiny Hope Cyrus, the singer rose to fame with her Disney Channel show, “Hannah Montana.” Cyrus has worked to reinvent herself in the years since the show wrapped, projecting an edgier image as of late.

In June, Cyrus debuted “We Can’t Stop,” the lead single off “BANGERZ.” The track made waves with its controversial lyrics alluding to drug usage and theaccompanying music video which shows a scantily clad Cyrus twerking and writhing around on a bed.

“BANGERZ” is expected to hit stores later this year.
